The Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF) represents and facilitates the humanitarian aid efforts and long-term development initiatives of its member International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) operating in Pakistan. PHF’s primary services encompass coordination, information sharing, communication, and representation with key stakeholders, including government bodies, donor agencies, the UN, I/NGOs, and other organizations at both the federal and provincial levels.
PHF is comprised of the membership, the members form the annually elected Executive Committee and Chair, and the PHF Secretariat. The Executive Committee and the Country Coordinator are mandated to ensure good governance and take decisions on operations and priorities in consultation with the membership.

Code of Conduct
Establishing and Maintaining Humanitarian Principles
Humanitarian principles are central to establishing and maintaining access to affected populations whether in the context of a natural disaster, an armed conflict or a complex emergency.
The PHF Code of Conduct establishes, maintains and promotes humanitarian principles and values by its members. The Code of Conduct outlines principles which all members must adhere to in their work and is signed by all members. It is expected that in signing this code, members commit to ensuring their conduct lives up to these principles in the course of their work.

Meet Our Board of Directors
The Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF) was established as an independent platform in 2003 and later registered as a charity under The Islamabad Capital Territory Charities Registration, Regulation, and Facilitation Act of 2021. On September 4, 2024, PHF received its official registration, numbered CRRFA/ICT/205 of 2024. The forum is led by a distinguished Board of Directors, chaired by Lt. Gen. Omar Mehmood Hayat (Retd.). Other notable members include Dr. Abid Qaiyum Suleri, Syed Waqas Ali Kausar, and Mubashir Fida. PHF continues to play a pivotal role in coordinating humanitarian efforts across Pakistan, providing a unified voice for 44 international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).
