This response plan aims to:
a) Ensure continued international attention to protracted crisis of 1.4 million Afghan Refugees living in Pakistan, urging for more equitable responsibility-sharing in line with the Global Compact on Refugees.
b) complement the Pakistani Government’s efforts in responding to the needs of the most vulnerable populations affected by natural disasters, by ensuring alignment with Government initiatives, support plans and social assistance.
c) provide resources to humanitarian partners for the benefit of people in need of assistance and ensure transparency and visibility; d) and strengthening links with the Government, the affected people, and the civil society while ensuring sustainability by working to supplement existing progress on disaster risk reduction and on meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
